midazolam (59467-70-8)
Versed  ·  Midazolam Hydrochloride  ·  Dormicum
Midazolam, marketed under the trade name Versed, among others, is a medication used for anesthesia, procedural sedation, trouble sleeping, and severe agitation. It works by inducing sleepiness, decreasing anxiety, and causing a loss of ability to create new memories. It is also useful for the treatment of seizures.
Vecuronium (50700-72-6, 86029-43-8)
Vecuronium bromide, sold under the brand name Norcuron among others, is a medication used as part of general anesthesia to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. It is also used to help with endotracheal intubation; however, suxamethonium (succinylcholine) is generally preferred if this needs to be done quickly. It is given by injection into a vein.
Pentazocine lactate (17146-95-1)
Pentazocine  ·  Talwin  ·  Pentazocine Hydrochloride
pentazocine (7488-49-5, 359-83-1, 21820-34-8, 55643-30-6)
Talwin  ·  Pentazocine Hydrochloride  ·  Pentazocine Lactate
Pentazocine, sold under the brand name Talwin among others, is a painkiller used to treat moderate to severe pain. It is believed to work by activating (agonizing) κ-opioid receptors (KOR) and blocking (antagonizing) μ-opioid receptors (MOR). As such it is called an opioid as it delivers its effects on pain by interacting with the opioid receptors.
Talwin (359-83-1, 55643-30-6)
Pentazocine  ·  Pentazocine Hydrochloride  ·  Pentazocine Lactate
fentanyl (437-38-7)
Fentanyl Citrate  ·  Sublimaze  ·  Duragesic
Fentanyl, also known as fentanil, is an opioid which is used as a pain medication and together with other medications for anesthesia. It has a rapid onset and effects generally last less than an hour or two. Fentanyl is available in a number of forms including by injection, as a skin patch, and to be absorbed through the tissues inside the mouth.
Atracurium besylate (96946-42-8, 64228-79-1, 64228-81-5)
Atracurium  ·  Tracrium  ·  BW 33A
Atracurium besilate is a medication used in addition to other medications to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. It can also be used to help with endotracheal intubation but suxamethonium (succinylcholine) is generally preferred if this needs to be done quickly. It is given by injection into a vein.
Atracurium (64228-79-1)
Atracurium besilate is a medication used in addition to other medications to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. It can also be used to help with endotracheal intubation but suxamethonium (succinylcholine) is generally preferred if this needs to be done quickly. It is given by injection into a vein.
Trimecaine (616-68-2)
Mesocaine  ·  Trimecaine Monohydrochloride
Trimecaine (systematic name (2,4,6-trimethylphenylcarbamoylmethyl)diethylammonium chloride, chemical formula C15H25ClN2O) is an organic compound used as a local anesthetic and cardial antiarrhythmic. It is white crystalline powder readily soluble in water and ethanol. It is an active ingredient in products available under trademarks Mesdicain, Mesocain, Mesokain and others.
Medetomidine (86347-14-0)
Medetomidine is a synthetic drug used as both a surgical anesthetic and analgesic. It is often used as the hydrochloride salt, medetomidine hydrochloride, a crystalline white solid. It is an α2 adrenergic agonist that can be administered as an intravenous drug solution with sterile water.
ALFENTANIL (71195-58-9)
Alfentanil (R-39209, trade name Alfenta, Rapifen in Australia) is a potent but short-acting synthetic opioid analgesic drug, used for anaesthesia in surgery. It is an analogue of fentanyl with around 1/4 to 1/10 the potency of fentanyl and around 1/3 of the duration of action, but with an onset of effects 4x faster than fentanyl. Alfentanil has a pKa of approximately 6.5, which leads to a very high proportion of the drug being uncharged at physiologic pH.
Midazolam maleate (59467-94-6)
Versed  ·  Midazolam  ·  Midazolam Hydrochloride
Cisatracurium besylate (96946-42-8)
Cisatracurium (formerly recognized as 51W89, and marketed as Nimbex) is a bisbenzyltetrahydroisoquinolinium that has effect as a neuromuscular-blocking drug or skeletal muscle relaxant in the category of non-depolarizing neuromuscular-blocking drugs, used adjunctively in anesthesia to facilitate endotracheal intubation and to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. It shows intermediate duration of action. Cisatracurium is one of the ten isomers of the parent molecule, atracurium.
Nefopam hydrochloride (69319-31-9, 23327-57-3)
Ajan  ·  Nefopam  ·  3M Brand of Nefopam Hydrochloride
tubocurarine (6989-98-6, 57-94-3, 57-95-4, 8063-06-7)
Tubocurarine Chloride  ·  Tubocurare  ·  d-Tubocurare
Tubocurarine (also known as d-tubocurarine or DTC) is a toxic alkaloid historically known for its use as an arrow poison. In the mid-1900s, it was used in conjunction with an anesthetic to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. It is now rarely used as an adjunct for clinical anesthesia because safer alternatives, such as cisatracurium and rocuronium, are available.
nefopam (13669-70-0)
Ajan  ·  3M Brand of Nefopam Hydrochloride  ·  Acupan
Nefopam, sold under the brand names Acupan among others, is a painkilling medication. It is primarily used to treat moderate, acute or chronic pain. It is believed to work in the brain and spinal cord to relieve pain.
