METHACRYLIC ACID (79-41-4, 25087-26-7)
sodium methacrylate  ·  2-methylacrylic acid  ·  methacrylic acid, sodium salt
Methacrylic acid, abbreviated MAA, is an organic compound. This colorless, viscous liquid is a carboxylic acid with an acrid unpleasant odor. It is soluble in warm water and miscible with most organic solvents.
ZINEB (12122-67-7, 9006-42-2)
Dithane Z-78  ·  Dithane Z 78  ·  Zinc Ethylenebis(dithiocarbamate)
Zineb is the chemical compound with the formula {Zn[S2CN(H)CH2CH2N(H)CS2]}n. Structurally, it is classified as a coordination polymer. This pale yellow solid is used as fungicide.
trans-1,4-Dichloro-2-butene (764-41-0, 1476-11-5, 110-57-6)
1,4-dichloro-2-butene, (E)-isomer  ·  1,4-dichloro-2-butene  ·  1,4-dichloro-2-butene, (Z)-isomer
1,4-Dichlorobut-2-ene is a chlorinated butene. It is an intermediate in the industrial production of chloroprene, and the main impurity in technical grade chloroprene. The (E)-isomer is also one of the starting materials for Birman's total synthesis of the poriferic natural product sceptrin.
gamma-Butyrolactone (96-48-0, 187997-16-6)
gamma Butyrolactone  ·  4-Butyrolactone  ·  4-Hydroxybutyric Acid Lactone
γ-Butyrolactone (GBL) is a hygroscopic colorless liquid with a weak characteristic odor and profoundly disgusting taste. Soluble in water, GBL is a common solvent and reagent in chemistry as well as being used as a flavouring, as a cleaning solvent, as a superglue remover, and as a solvent in some wet aluminium electrolytic capacitors. In humans it acts as a prodrug for γ-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB), and it is used as a recreational intoxicant with effects similar to alcohol.
