2-Methoxyethyl acetate (32718-56-2, 110-49-6)
ethylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate  ·  2-methoxyethanol acetate
ETHYL LACTATE (97-64-3)
ethyl lactate, (R)-isomer  ·  ethyl lactate, (S)-isomer
Ethyl lactate, also known as lactic acid ethyl ester, is a monobasic ester formed from lactic acid and ethanol, commonly used as a solvent. This compound is considered biodegradable and can be used as a water-rinsible degreaser. Ethyl lactate is found naturally in small quantities in a wide variety of foods including wine, chicken, and various fruits.
ethyl carbonate
Diethyl carbonate (sometimes abbreviated DEC) is a carbonate ester of carbonic acid and ethanol with the formula OC(OCH2CH3)2. At room temperature (25 °C) diethyl carbonate is a clear liquid with a low flash point. Diethyl carbonate is used as a solvent such as in erythromycin intramuscular injections.
beta-Hydroxyisovaleric acid (625-08-1)
β-Hydroxy β-methylbutyric acid (HMB), also known as β-hydroxy β-methylbutyrate, is a naturally produced substance in humans that is used as a dietary supplement and as an ingredient in some medical foods. It is added to certain medical foods that are intended to provide nutritional support for people with muscle wasting due to cancer or HIV/AIDS and to promote wound healing. In healthy adults, supplementation with HMB has been shown to increase exercise-induced gains in muscle size, muscle strength, and lean body mass, reduce skeletal muscle damage from exercise, improve aerobic exercise performance, and speed recovery from exercise.
2-Hydroxy-3-methylbutyric acid (4026-18-0, 600-37-3)
2-hydroxyisovaleric acid, (S)-isomer  ·  2-hydroxyisovalerate  ·  2-hydroxyisovaleric acid
2-Hydroxy-4-(methylthio)butyric acid (583-91-5)
methionine hydroxy analog  ·  Alimet  ·  alpha-hydroxy-gamma-methylmercaptobutyric acid
3-Hydroxypentanoic acid (10237-77-1)
3-Hydroxypentanoic acid, or beta-hydroxypentanoate is a 5-carbon ketone body. It is made from odd carbon fatty acids in the liver and rapidly enters the brain. As opposed to 4-carbon ketone bodies, 3-hydroxypentanoic acid is anaplerotic, meaning it can refill the pool of TCA cycle intermediates.
Methyl 2-hydroxyisobutyrate (2110-78-3)
methyl alpha-hydroxyisobutyrate
