cromolyn (16110-51-3)
Cromolyn Sodium  ·  Cromoglycate  ·  Intal
Cromoglicic acid (INN) (also referred to as cromolyn (USAN), cromoglycate (former BAN), or cromoglicate) is traditionally described as a mast cell stabilizer, and is commonly marketed as the sodium salt sodium cromoglicate or cromolyn sodium. This drug prevents the release of inflammatory chemicals such as histamine from mast cells. Because of their convenience (and perceived safety), leukotriene receptor antagonists have largely replaced it as the non-corticosteroid treatment of choice in the treatment of asthma.
amlexanox (68302-57-8)
Aphthasol  ·  AA-673  ·  AA 673
Amlexanox (trade name Aphthasol) is an anti-inflammatory antiallergic immunomodulator used to treat recurrent aphthous ulcers (canker sores), and (in Japan) several inflammatory conditions. This drug has been discontinued in the U.S.
Erdosteine (84611-23-4, 105426-14-0)
Erdosteine is a mucolytic. Specifically it is a thiol derivative developed for the treatment of chronic obstructive bronchitis, including acute infective exacerbation of chronic bronchitis. Erdosteine contains two blocked sulfhydryl groups which are released following first-pass metabolism.
Cilomilast (153259-65-5)
Cilomilast (INN, codenamed SB-207,499, proposed trade name Ariflo) is a drug which was developed for the treatment of respiratory disorders such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is orally active and acts as a selective phosphodiesterase-4 inhibitor. Phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors, such as theophylline, have been used to treat COPD for centuries; however, the clinical benefits of these agents have never been shown to outweigh the risks of their numerous adverse effects.
Varespladib (172732-68-2)
Varespladib is an inhibitor of the IIa, V, and X isoforms of secretory phospholipase A2 (sPLA2). The molecule acts as an anti-inflammatory agent by disrupting the first step of the arachidonic acid pathway of inflammation. From 2006 to 2012, varespladib was under active investigation by Anthera Pharmaceuticals as a potential therapy for several inflammatory diseases, including acute coronary syndrome and acute chest syndrome.
Letosteine (53943-88-7)
Broluidan  ·  Kenfarma Brand of Letosteine  ·  Celltech Brand of Letosteine
Letosteine is a mucolytic patented (U.S. patent 6987120) by Piero del Soldato of Milan, Italy. He filed his application in 2000.
Dibunate (14992-58-6)
Dibunate is a cough suppressant.

phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid  ·  2-phenylbenzimidazole-5-sulfonic acid  ·  Eusolex 232
Ensulizole (INN; also known as phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid) is a common sunscreen agent. In 1999, the United States Food and Drug Administration regulated that the name ensulizole be used on sunscreen labels in the United States. Ensulizole is primarily a UVB protecting agent providing only minimal UVA protection.
