formoterol (73573-87-2)
Foradil  ·  Oxis  ·  formoterol fumarate
Formoterol (INN) or eformoterol (former BAN) is a long-acting β2 agonist (LABA) used in the management of asthma and COPD. It is marketed in three forms: a dry-powder inhaler, a metered-dose inhaler and an inhalation solution, under various trade names including Atock, Atimos/Atimos Modulite, Foradil/Foradile, Oxeze/Oxis, and Perforomist. It is also marketed in the combination formulations budesonide/formoterol and mometasone/formoterol.
Salbutamol (18559-94-9)
Albuterol  ·  Ventolin  ·  Proventil
Salbutamol, also known as albuterol and marketed as Ventolin among other names, is a medication that opens up the medium and large airways in the lungs. It is used to treat asthma including asthma attacks, exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It may also be used to treat high blood potassium levels.
Salmeterol (89365-50-4)
Salmeterol is a long-acting β2 adrenergic receptor agonist (LABA) used in the maintenance and prevention of asthma symptoms and maintenance of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) symptoms. Symptoms of bronchospasm include shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing and chest tightness. It is also used to prevent breathing difficulties during exercise (exercise-induced bronchoconstriction).
terbutaline (46719-29-3, 23031-25-6)
Brethine  ·  Terbutaline Sulfate  ·  Bricanyl
Terbutaline (trade names "Bronclyn",Brethine, Bricanyl, Brethaire, or Terbulin) is a β2 adrenergic receptor agonist, used as a "reliever" inhaler in the management of asthma symptoms and as a tocolytic (anti-contraction medication) to delay preterm labor for up to 48 hours. This time can then be used to administer steroid injections to the mother which help fetal lung maturity and reduce complications of prematurity. It should not be used to prevent preterm labor or delay labor more than 48–72 hours.
isoproterenol (7683-59-2)
Isoprenaline  ·  Isuprel  ·  Isoproterenol Hydrochloride
Isoprenaline, or isoproterenol, is a medication used for the treatment of bradycardia (slow heart rate), heart block, and rarely for asthma. In humans, it is a non-selective β adrenoreceptor agonist that is the isopropylamine analog of epinephrine (adrenaline).
nylidrin (447-41-6)
Arlidin  ·  Nylidrin Hydrochloride  ·  Dilatol
Buphenine (or nylidrin) is a β2 adrenoreceptor agonist that acts as a vasodilator.
clenbuterol (50306-01-9, 37148-27-9, 50499-60-0, 50306-03-1)
NAB 365  ·  NAB365  ·  Planipart
Clenbuterol, marketed as Dilaterol, Spiropent, Ventipulmin, is a sympathomimetic amine used by sufferers of breathing disorders as a decongestant and bronchodilator. People with chronic breathing disorders such as asthma use this as a bronchodilator to make breathing easier. It is most commonly available as the hydrochloride salt, clenbuterol hydrochloride.
Levalbuterol (18559-94-9, 34391-04-3)
Levosalbutamol, also known as levalbuterol, is a short-acting β2 adrenergic receptor agonist used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Evidence does not show that levosalbutamol works better than salbutamol, thus there may not be sufficient justification for prescribing it. The drug is the (R)-(−)-enantiomer of its prototype drug salbutamol.
fenoterol (1944-10-1, 13392-18-2)
Berotec  ·  Fenoterol Hydrobromide  ·  Berotek
Fenoterol is a β2 adrenoreceptor agonist designed to open up the airways to the lungs. It is classed as sympathomimetic β2 agonist and asthma medication. Fenoterol is produced and sold by Boehringer Ingelheim as Berotec N and in combination with ipratropium as Berodual N.
ritodrine (26652-09-5)
PrePar  ·  Yutopar  ·  Ritodrine Hydrochloride
Ritodrine (trade name Yutopar) is a tocolytic drug used to stop premature labor. This drug has been removed from the US market, according to FDA Orange Book. It was available in oral tablets or as an injection and was typically used as the hydrochloride salt, ritodrine hydrochloride.
Bambuterol (81732-65-2, 81732-46-9)
Bambuterol (INN) is a long-acting β adrenoceptor agonist (LABA) used in the treatment of asthma; it also is a prodrug of terbutaline. Commercially, the AstraZeneca pharmaceutical company produces and markets bambuterol as Bambec and Oxeol. It is not available in the U.S.
METHOXYPHENAMINE (93-30-1)
Orthoxine  ·  methoxyphenamine hydrochloride  ·  methoxyphenamine hydrochloride, (+-)-isomer
Methoxyphenamine (trade names ASMI, Euspirol, Orthoxine, Ortodrinex, Proasma), also known as 2-methoxy-N-methylamphetamine (OMMA), is a β-adrenergic receptor agonist of the amphetamine class used as a bronchodilator.
CARBUTEROL (34866-47-2)
carbuterol monohydrochloride, (+)-isomer  ·  (5-(2-(tert-butylamino)-1-hydroxyethyl)-2-hydroxyphenyl)urea  ·  SK and F 40,383-A
Carbuterol (INN; carbuterol hydrochloride USAN) is a short-acting β2 adrenoreceptor agonist.
